Privacy

Karwar.net is built so that using a tool never requires handing over your files. This page explains exactly what happens when you convert an image here.

Files are processed on your device

The HEIC to JPG converter works inside your browser tab. Your files are not uploaded to Karwar.net, not copied to a temporary folder and not written to any storage. If you open your browser’s network panel while converting, you will see no image traffic at all.

What we do not collect

No account, no email address, no image, no thumbnail and no file name leaves your device. We do not build profiles and we do not sell data, because we never receive any.

Local storage on your device

The site stores two small preferences in your browser: your chosen language and your light or dark theme. They stay on your device, are not readable by other websites and can be removed at any time by clearing site data.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and its own code loads no tracking scripts. The hosting platform may add cookie-less, aggregated performance measurement that cannot identify you. If product analytics is enabled later, it will run without advertising cookies and this page will be updated first.

Advertising

Ads are not shown today. If they are introduced, they will never cover the upload area or the download buttons, and they will not receive your images — advertisers have no access to files processed in your browser.
