About Karwar.net

Karwar.net is a small set of file tools built on one rule: your files stay on your own device.

What this site does

We build converters for the formats phones produce and computers handle badly — HEIC and HEIF photos, and the step between a photo and a document. Each tool does one job, asks for no account, and works on a slow connection.

Why nothing is uploaded

No server receives your photos. The conversion runs inside your browser tab, so the file never travels anywhere, which is also why there is no upload limit and no queue.

How the site is paid for

The tools are free and always will be. Hosting costs little because we do no image processing on our side; advertising may cover the rest. Ads never receive your files.

Corrections

If a tool gets something wrong — a format it should accept, a page in the wrong language, a claim that no longer holds — write to hello@karwar.net and we will fix it.
