Your Weekly Dose of Bike Updates: 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160, KTM 390 Adventure X Plus, and More!

Last week was deprived of interesting new two-wheeler launches, but a few updates related to upcoming products kept the excitement going for the enthusiasts. In case you couldn’t keep track of such updates, here’s a round-up.

2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 Launch

TVS Motor Company launched the 2025 version of the Apache RTR 160 in India. The motorcycle is now compliant with the new OBD-2B emissions norms. Additionally, TVS has also equipped the motorcycle with dual-channel ABS – a rare feature in this segment. The prices of the motorcycle start from Rs. 1,34,320, which makes it around Rs. 4,000 more expensive than the top-end Racing Edition of the older model.

2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z Launch Soon

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is expected to be launched soon in India. Bajaj is likely to announce the prices in a few days, perhaps around early July. The 373cc, liquid-cooled motor on the new version will now make 42.4bhp, instead of 39.5bhp on the older model. Peak torque is expected to be 37Nm and there could be a quickshifter also. The motorcycle will also be better in terms of tyres and braking hardware.

KTM 390 Adventure X Plus Incoming

KTM is all set to revamp its 390 Adventure lineup in India with the launch of the new 390 Adventure X Plus, a more feature-rich variant that will replace the KTM 390 Adventure X. The biggest highlight of the Plus trim will be its IMU-based electronics package comprising switchable Cornering ABS, switchable Cornering Traction Control, and Cruise Control. It will also offer three ride modes: Street, Rain, and Off-Road, giving the rider more control across conditions, just like the standard model.

Bajaj Freedom Discount

Bajaj Auto has announced a discount worth Rs. 5,000 on the base variant of the Freedom CNG motorcycle. As a result, the price has come down from Rs. 90,976 to Rs. 85,967. The higher variants, including Drum LED and Disc LED, will continue to retail for Rs. 95,981 and Rs. 1,10,976, respectively. Do note that this is a limited-period offer, and the original price of the base variant might soon become applicable again.
