In between the recent launch of the Vivo T4 Ultra and the rumoured launch of the Vivo X Fold 5 and X200 FE on July 10, the company will soon launch another phone in its Y-series, dubbed the Vivo Y400 Pro. At the moment, the brand has only confirmed the launch date, which is set for June 20, while other official details have been kept under wraps. However, has that ever stopped the rumour mill from churning out the key details of a particular device? In this case, leaks have already given us a good idea about what to expect from the upcoming Y400 Pro — and here’s everything you need to know about it.
When it comes to the Vivo Y400 Pro, we haven’t even had to rely on leaks from tipsters. Instead, a recent Amazon listing of the phone’s purchase page went live, and of course, it was taken down later. First spotted by folks at GSMArena, the listing had all the key details about Vivo’s upcoming device, including the design from all angles, and the ‘Freestyle White’ colour option.
The listing also revealed that the Vivo Y400 Pro will be just 8mm thick and weigh only 182 grams. It will sport a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. It will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. A separate report also suggested there’d be a 256GB storage variant as well.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y400 Pro will reportedly come with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, including a Sony IMX882 primary OIS sensor, along with a 32-megapixel front camera.
Interestingly, the Amazon listing also reveals that the phone could come with Funtouch OS 14 software. However, that’s highly unlikely, considering all Vivo phones in 2025 have featured Funtouch OS 15 atop Android 15.
Apart from the Freestyle White colour, the Vivo Y400 Pro is also rumoured to come in a Festival Gold colour option, as per PassionateGeekz.
To recall, the Vivo Y300 Pro+ was recently launched in China and was repackaged as the Vivo T4 5G for the Indian market. Instead, the Vivo Y300 came to India last year in November. And now, we are straight up jumping to the Vivo Y400 Pro.
Upon launching, expect the phone to retail around Rs 25,000 in India. Stay tuned to India Today Tech for all the latest on the Vivo Y400 Pro.
