Shah Rukh Khan showed his support for his close friend and veteran actor Anupam Kher’s upcoming film ‘Tanvi The Great’. On Sunday, he shared the film’s trailer on X (formerly Twitter) and praised Anupam for always making bold and creative choices in his career.Sharing the trailer link,the King Khan penned, “To my friend @AnupamPKher who has always taken chances… whether it’s acting, filmmaking or life!! All the best on this journey!!”Anupam Kher’s film ‘Tanvi The Great’, which he has directed, tells a heartfelt story about a young girl with autism who dreams of joining the Indian Army. The trailer has touched many people, and several Bollywood stars have come forward to show their support.The ‘Animal’ actor Anil Kapoor also tweeted and praised the film, saying, “Some stories stay with you long after the screen fades to black… #TanviTheGreat is one of them. And sometimes as a guide too!”At the trailer launch, Anupam Kher revealed that the story of Tanvi The Great was inspired by a personal experience with his niece, Tanvi, who is autistic. “Four years ago, at a family wedding in Gurgaon, I asked Tanvi what she was looking at. She said, ‘I am looking at my world.’ That line shook me. I didn’t understand what her world was — and that became the germ of this film, he said.”Tanvi The Great stars newcomer Shubhangi in the main role, along with Jackie Shroff, Pallavi Joshi, Arvind Swami, and Karan Tacker. The music is composed by Oscar-winning musician M.M. Keeravani.The film is set to release in theatres on July 18 and shares an inspiring story about following dreams, staying determined, and embracing inclusion.
