Actor Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, died at the age of 53 following a heart attack. Sources told India Today, the incident occurred while he was playing polo. Sunjay was currently married to Priya Sachdev.
Actor and author Suhel Seth confirmed the death and expressed his grief in a post on X.
Sunjay’s last post on X was about the tragic Air India plane crash that took place in Ahmedabad today, June 12.

Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay got married in 2003, but their relationship soon deteriorated, leading to an acrimonious split in 2014. The businessman and the actor share two children, daughter Samaira and son Kiaan.
