Yes, the makers are planning a spin-off of John Abraham’s iconic character, Jim from Pathaan. The film will reportedly reveal the story behind Jim’s angst as a negative character.

Not only that but the makers have already narrated the story to John who is onboard for the film.
A source reportedly said, “Jim will be a prequel to Pathaan, and will be packaged with cameos from all films of the Spy Universe, as the backstory of Jim shows him as one of the best agents from Indian Intelligence Agencies.”

Jim’s character was one of the main reasons behind Pathaan’s success. His clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s character were some of the most highlighted and loved scenes in the action drama.
However, the question looms – is it bankable to make a standalone film on Jim’s character? To be honest, spending 100-150 crore on a film starring John Abraham may not make sense.
