There are two services that you need for a working website - a domain name plus a website hosting plan for it. Any time you type the Internet domain in your web browser, you see the content that is uploaded inside the website hosting account, but if that domain name isn't linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. In other words, the domain address is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it could be directed to any other URL of your choice. The main benefit of parking a domain is that you can keep it and make sure that nobody else is going to take it. At the same time, it will not block a slot for a hosted domain name within your account. You can also park domain names if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to forward them to the main website so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Hosting

With each and every hosting package we offer you can park as many domain addresses as you wish and in contrast to other companies, we do not have any fees for that. Needless to say, this can be done only for domain names which are registered through our company since parking a domain is possible only with the registrar, but not through the host unless you have the two services with only one company. We have got a feature-rich Domain Manager tool where you can effortlessly park and un-park domain addresses, choose one of the templates we offer and add custom text to it, or forward a domain to a URL of your choice. If you host a parked domain name, our system will change its name servers and create a folder in the File Manager automatically. You can also set filters to check out only the parked or only the hosted domain names, that will enable you to handle them easy and fast.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we provide you will have the freedom to park as many domain names that are registered through us as you want. Due to the fact that only the registrar company can provide a parking feature, you cannot park domains that are only hosted on our leading-edge cloud hosting platform. Using the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you can park and un-park domains with as little as a few clicks and filter all domains you have by their status, for much easier control. We provide a variety of templates that you can use and if you prefer, you can also include some custom text to each of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it inside your account, you will not need to do anything manually - our system will create a domain folder within the File Manager section and will set up all the required DNS records so that the domain address works properly and starts loading the content which you upload for it on our servers.
