A Gudivada woman named Mounika Atluri has won the coveted Mrs Telugu USA 2025 title. Mounika outclassed 24 other contestants from various parts of the twin Telugu states to be adorned with the prestigious crown. Mrs Telugu USA 2024 title winner Shriya Boppana handed over the crown to Mounika in the glittering finale that was held at the Irving Arts Center, Dallas, Texas.
Mounika hails from Ainampudi village, Pamarru Mandal, near Gudivada in Krishna district. She is a civil engineering graduate and worked as an Assistant Executive Engineer in Hyderabad. She moved to the USA post her marriage in 2017. She is currently working as a permanent employee at Salesforce in the USA. Mounika Atluri is a mother of two young girls. Her parents, Atluri Krishna Prasad and Sailaja, live in Gudivada.
The Mrs Telugu USA contest is part of the Miss & Mrs Telugu USA pageant, the largest and the most prestigious beauty pageant for Telugu women in the U.S. The pageant celebrates the rich cultural heritage and Telugu roots of its contestants. Avanthika Kundoor was crowned Miss Telugu USA 2025 at the event.
