Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin goes off-air due to low TRP.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, one of television’s most popular shows, is preparing to go off-air. Rumours had been circulating for a while that the show was under scrutiny due to declining TRPs. A few months ago, the producers introduced a time leap with a completely new set of lead characters. However, the revamped storyline did not resonate with viewers.

In an attempt to boost ratings, the makers even brought back Bhavika Sharma, aka Savi, but the show still failed to receive a positive response. According to Telly Express, the cast and crew shot the final episode on Sunday, June 29. The show is expected to go off air in the first week of July. It is said that Savi (Bhavika) and Neil (Param Singh) will part ways on friendly terms, not as a romantic couple.

Both Bhavika and Param confirmed the wrap-up through their Instagram stories. Bhavika posted a mirror selfie with the caption, “Definitely going to miss Savi,” and also shared a clip in her police avatar, writing, “Last day.” Take a look:

Param, who returned to television after a long break with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, shared a video on his story, simply writing, “Last day #backsoon.”

Recently, it was reported that Hitesh Bhardwaj was reapproached by Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar makers, days after he exited the show. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Hitesh Bhardwaj talked about the same. He mentioned that even though he does not regret not being able to rejoin the show, it will always be special for him.

“It is not about regretting something. That show is very close to my heart. So I cannot say that I regret that thing. I will definitely say that it would have been good if it had happened. But otherwise, I am in a very good state. I am doing good work. It is like somebody asking, ‘Will you go back to Udaariyaan?’ I will say the same thing for that also. I like Udaaniyaan very much. These shows have done a lot of good for my career. It has showcased my craft very well. I am always thankful to these shows,” he said.

“I will not say that I regret or something but I am doing good work and everything is going well. I just think that yes, it would have felt better if I had gone,” the actor added.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin first premiered in 2020 with Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh as the original leads. Following a major leap, Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora, and Hitesh Bharadwaj joined as the new faces. Earlier this year in January, yet another revamp introduced Vaibhavi Hankare, Param Singh, and Sanam Johar in lead roles. However, it appears the fresh cast failed to keep the audience engaged.
