Engineers India Share Price Today Up 5%

Engineers India share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 203.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,097.2 (up 1.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Bharat Electronics (up 5.2%) and Siemens (up 5.2%).

Carborundum Universal (down 0.9%) and Graphite India (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Engineers India has moved down from Rs 272.8 to Rs 203.3, registering a loss of Rs 69.5 (down 25.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 67,649.1 to 69,097.2, registering a gain of 2.1% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 39.6%), HINDUSTAN AERO. (up 4.6%) and L&T (up 4.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 81,596.6 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (up 2.0%) and Tata Steel (up 1.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,811.5 (up 0.5%). Bharat Electronics and Tata Steel are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 73,953.3 to 81,596.6, registering a gain of 7,643.3 points (up 10.3%).

Engineers India Financial Update…

Engineers India net profit grew 77.8% YoY to Rs 938 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 527 million a year ago. Net sales declined 11.9% to Rs 7,646 million during the period as against Rs 8,676 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Engineers India reported 4.6% increase in net profit to Rs 3,602 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,442 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 1.4% to Rs 32,822 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Engineers India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 35.8.
