DTE Energy currently has six clean energy developments in Gratiot County, including three wind farms and three solar parks.

Company leaders were joined by local officials and community members at the event to discuss how the new park could benefit the community.

DTE Energy says it has invested more than $4.6 billion in renewable infrastructure since 2009. The company also announced that more solar parks are already in development.

The company aims to power over 830,000 homes with wind and solar by the end of this year.
