CRI Solar wins ₹210 cr orders for solar pumping systems across three states, ET Manufacturing

CRI Solar’s product offerings include solar pumping systems, remote monitoring tools, and after-sales services.

CRI Solar, a division of CRI Pumps, has secured orders worth ₹210 crore for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 6,894 solar pumping systems. The contracts have been awarded by the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA), and Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA).

These orders are part of state-led efforts to expand renewable energy infrastructure for agricultural water management. Deployment of the systems will begin as per timelines set by the respective state agencies.

Company’s renewable energy footprint

According to the company, CRI Solar has executed multiple large-scale solar pumping projects across India. The firm states that it has installed over 181,000 solar pumping systems to date, with smart and IoT-enabled features. These systems are estimated to have saved more than 6,100 million kWh of electricity and helped avoid over 4.80 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.
