Dork has officially hit the big 1-0-0, and we’re celebrating in style. Issue 100 – available to order now, and online from this coming Monday (23rd June) – is a bumper, triple-cover spectacular, with Fontaines D.C. and CMAT revealed as our brand new cover stars alongside the already-revealed Bastille.
We already announced an ultra-intimate celebratory show at London’s 100 Club with the latter of those names earlier today – but why stop at one cover when you can have three? This landmark edition isn’t about a quiet look back; it’s a full-throttle party in magazine form, marking 100 issues of 110% pop nonsense.
Fontaines D.C. appear in their imperial phase, charging into our centenary issue with metaphorical airhorns blazing and zero intention of slowing down – not content with gold records and sold-out tours, they’ve got their sights set on true legend status. Bastille, meanwhile, have outlasted most of their peers and still refuse to play it safe. Fifteen years into their career, they’re celebrating by squeezing into the iconic (and gloriously sweaty) 100 Club for a one-off show in Dork’s honour. That’s the kind of commitment that gets you on the cover of the mag, right there.
And then there’s CMAT – the irrepressible pop icon turning 2025 into her own technicolour hoedown. Armed with a fearless sense of humour and a banger-packed new album (her third, and possibly her best yet), she’s a one-person party with the personality to match. It’s a CMAT summer, people.

And that’s just the beginning. Inside Dork number 100, we’ve raided the vaults for a few birthday treats – think never-before-seen photos, long-lost interview gems, and some AAA-list surprises from the Dork archives. At the heart of it all is the Dork 100 – a curated rundown of 100 era-defining tracks that have soundtracked life in Dork’s universe so far. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s guaranteed to have you reminiscing (and probably arguing) over what made the cut. Essentially, it’s our ultimate mixtape of the last 100 issues – spanning from game-changing chart-toppers to cult anthems that inspired a thousand bands.
We agonised over every pick (there were debates, there were cheers, there were probably a few “are we really putting that in?” moments), so expect to feel nostalgic, surprised, and maybe even inspired (but probably not). And naturally, the issue is packed with appearances from a who’s who of Dork’s world as we’ve raided our archives for special gems and unseen treats – we’re talking The 1975, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Dua Lipa, Sam Fender, Phoebe Bridgers, Wolf Alice, Louis Tomlinson (yes, there are four whole new photos from that shoot in this issue you haven’t seen before), Haim, Wet Leg, Renée Rapp, Beabadoobee, RAYE, Declan McKenna, Inhaler, Conan Gray, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sports Team, girl in red, Rina Sawayama, Glass Animals, The Last Dinner Party… and plenty more besides. It’s a treasure trove of Dork past and present.
Importantly, Issue 100 isn’t just looking back – it’s very much about what’s happening right now too. We’ve lined up a stack of brand new features and interviews with some of the most exciting acts on the planet. Post-punk heroes Shame dive into their most energetic era yet, and actor-turned-indie-rocker Finn Wolfhard shares the story behind his latest musical venture. We also get up close with a raft of buzzworthy newcomers, including Keo, UNIVERSITY, Brogeal, Niko B, Nate Sib, Annie DiRusso and more – consider it Dork’s fresh batch of future favourites.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Dork without the verdict on what’s new and now, and Issue 100’s review section is absolutely stacked. We deliver our take on the latest releases from some of our faves – Wet Leg’s eagerly awaited second album ‘Moisturizer’ for one arrives with sky-high expectations – and it absolutely delivers. There’s plenty more where that came from, too: we dive into new music from HAIM, the return of Pulp, a new record from James Marriott, a buzztastic EP from Florence Road, a heartfelt outing from Loyle Carner, and beyond.
And if that’s not enough, our live coverage section is going big on the front-row action – we’ve got all the buzz from a stacked summer of gigs and festivals. From Charli xcx’s festival-slaying sets to Twenty One Pilots taking over the O2, and king of entertainment Robbie Williams’ massive stadium show, there’s no shortage of action.
And the Dork 100 party isn’t confined to the printed page, either. Over the coming weeks, we’re taking the celebration out into the real world with a series of special live events. There’s a run of upcoming shows featuring some of our favourite former cover stars, plus our very own all-day festival – the aptly named Dork’s Day Out – which will bring a ton of new bands and Dork faves together for one massive knees-up. It’s set to be a full-on, joyously chaotic festival of pop nonsense, turning our 100th-issue milestone into a multi-event extravaganza.
Dork Issue 100 is available to order now – and if all that wasn’t enough, we’ve also decided to mark the occasion with an extra-special add-on for the super-fans. You can opt for the limited Dork 100 ‘Rare and Unseen’ Poster Pack, a one-off bundle exclusive to this issue. Inside you’ll find two double-sided A2 posters and three double-sided A3 folded posters, all featuring rare, never-before-seen shots from the Dork archives. We’re talking stunning images of Louis Tomlinson, Bastille, Inhaler, Yungblud, Beabadoobee, Wet Leg, Sam Fender, James Marriott and Fontaines D.C. – the kind of between-the-lines moments we’ve collected over the years, now yours to stick on your walls. These poster prints are only available with Dork’s 100th issue, making the edition a true collector’s item.
All told, Dork’s 100th issue is a full-on celebration of everything we love about music, our readers, and the brilliantly bonkers journey we’ve been on. It’s celebratory, it’s chaotic in the best way, and it’s packed cover-to-cover with the artists and antics that define our little corner of the pop universe. Here’s to hitting the big 100 – and here’s to the next 100. Down with boring, and all that.
And remember, order Dork’s 100th issue before 1pm on Monday (23rd June), opt in to emails from the checkout, and you’ll be able to join the pre-sale for our super intimate Bastille show. Everyone’s a winner (not everyone will be a winner, sorry – Ed).
