Money Heist X Berlin: Alvaro Morte To Reprise His Professor In Pedro Alonso Spinoff, Calls It ‘Small Gift To Fans’ – WATCH
A post shared by the social media handles of La Casa De Papel included an on-set click featuring Alvaro and Pedro, along with a video where he spoke about returning to the Money Heist universe. Alvaro said on camera, “Returning as the Professor, even if its a very, very small part, because its a few scenes, was something I really wanted to, beyond just seeing the crew again because well, it’s like a small gift we’re giving to everyone, to the followers, to the fans, we’ve always had, and who have always shown us so much love.”
About Money Heist and Berlin
Spanish show La Casa De Papel, also called Money Heist in English, premiered on TV in 2017, and eventually made its way on Netflix in 2019. It soon emerged a global phenomenon and ran for five season until its finale in 2021.
The crime-thriller follows the character of Professor who gathers a group of people with criminal backgrounds to undertake two heists, first at the Royal Mint of Spain, and then at the Bank of Spain. Pedro, who played the crucial anti-hero and Alvaro’s onscreen elder brother Berlin, though dies in the show’s second season while saving his team from the military, he was brought back for his own spinoff Berlin that debuted in 2023. Berlin is currently under production for its Season 2.

Meanwhile, La Casa De Papel also had a Korean adaptation titled Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area that streamed on Netflix in 2022.
