All New Toyota Fortuner Is Here – What’s New?

Toyota has finally launched the Fortuner with the new 48V hybrid technology. This new hybrid setup is now offered for both the Fortuner and the Legender nameplates. That said, the new hybrid version Toyota Fortuner is priced at Rs 53.89 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and the Legender Hybrid is priced at Rs 60.36 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).  Bookings for the all new Fortuner and Legender Neo Drive variants are open from today, while its deliveries are scheduled to commence from the 3rd week of June.

This new 48V hybrid setup is paired with Toyota’s 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine. With this new setup, the model is expected to offer an improved efficiency. This new engine should also help in improved throttle response and quick acceleration. Now, this is not the only thing! But, there’s a lot more that is now added on the new Fortuner! Let’s have a look at that – 

Other Upgrades

Apart from offering the new Neo 48V hybrid setup, the brand has also added some features to the list of Fortuner. The new additional features includes – a 360-degree camera, traction control, wireless charging, smart-idle start stop, and neo drive boost assist along with neo-drive badging. The above given list is of the equipment offered on both the Fortuner as well as on the Fortuner Legender. Other than the additional features, the new SUV features no exterior changes.

What Else

Apart from the above given features, the Fortuner offers other features like ventilated and powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, cruise control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, an 11-speaker JBL surround sound system, auto-dimming IRVMs, and more in its package. Safety features on the model include 7-airbags, ESC, hill start assist, rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors.
