Jose Delgado brings the violence time and time again.
Fighting on the biggest stage of his career Saturday, Delgado (10-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) put forth the most impressive performance of his career as he crushed Hyder Amil (11-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) with a massive knee and punches for the TKO stoppage 26 seconds into the fight on the UFC 317 prelims at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Delgado, 27, continues to turn heads in the international spotlight with two knockouts in the UFC and a contract-earning one on Dana White’s Contender Series. He won his debut in February with a TKO finish over Connor Matthews.
Making Delgado’s victory more impressive is the run Amil was on leading into the fight. He was 3-0 in the promotion with two TKO victories.
